Beef on the Barbie

A really easy way to cook beef on the barbie. This is a london broil cooked to perfection using indirect heat and a super secret way to “move the meat”.

The great thing about a london broil is that it can feed an entire family or if there is only two of you, it will last a few days.

London broil should be cooked medium rare to medium. Once you take it off of the grill, let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting it. If you dont know how to cut it, all you have to do is cut it down the middle and then turn the meat so that the cut is in front of you. Then start at the right or left side and make 1/4″ cuts. Repeat for the other half.

Enjoy.

How to Cook with Charcoal

In this video you will see how to cook with charcoal using the “indirect” heating method.

Almost all of the cooking I do on the weber grill uses indirect heat. This allows me to get some other things done, or relax to a couple of cold drinks without burning dinner.

It will take a lot longer to cook this way but believe me, it will become your favorite way to grill.

I have learned that it is better to spend the few extra dollars on the name brand charcoal and lighter fluid. Kingsford Charcoal seems to give me the most bang for the buck.
