Every now and then one of my fellow grill masters just plain “raises the bar”. Which is totally cool and all… except the part where *I* have to work that
much harder from now on  just to look like I know what I’m doing.

And that’s what ‘ole Mikey Shugrue and Barski’s Dad (Pops) did this weekend when we all got together for the 4th of July.

London Broil on the Weber Grill

London Broil is easily one of my favorites. Dont get me wrong, I love New York Strip Steaks, Filet Mignon, and Prime Rib but London Broil seems to give you the most bang for your buck. We purchased this two and a half pound London Broil for 13 dollars… and it was a buy one get one free deal so we really made out.

Think about it – you can feed steak to a family of 5 for dinner and it costs you less than 20 dollars. That is pretty awesome!

If you follow these simple steps in the video below you will have a winner every single time.

Beef on the Barbie

A really easy way to cook beef on the barbie. This is a london broil cooked to perfection using indirect heat and a super secret way to “move the meat”.

The great thing about a london broil is that it can feed an entire family or if there is only two of you, it will last a few days.

London broil should be cooked medium rare to medium. Once you take it off of the grill, let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting it. If you dont know how to cut it, all you have to do is cut it down the middle and then turn the meat so that the cut is in front of you. Then start at the right or left side and make 1/4″ cuts. Repeat for the other half.
